Thanks guys, It's a keeper and it does seem to be getting better with each bloom, altho I opened the lip and it's not even the same shape so will wonder and watch. Thanks for your comments and research. Time will tell and maybe someone will see it and have this lip.

It is difficult to determent if your plant is or isn't Blc. Hawaiian Leopard "Mei-Ling".
The color and the spots on sepals and petals seems to match with other images on the www.
Definitely the lip has a problem. It doesn't match. Sometimes clones get defects, specially if it is a clone made from a clone.
If it is Blc. Hawaiian Leopard "Mei-Ling" your plant has such a defect, or as other member mentioned it is a hybrid made with Blc. Hawaiian Leopard "Mei-Ling". By the way the genus changed to Rhynchobrassoleya (Rby.) Hawaiian Leopard "Mei-Ling".

Regardless of the name, it is a pretty orchid bloom. And the color is so clean and bright. I wish I had it.

    cheers,

The spots and patterning look right, but the lip really is such a strange shape. Mine's in bloom right now, and every time it's bloomed, it's looked just like pictures for the clone that turn up in a web search. I just put up photos of mine at http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...-mei-ling.html if you want to see.
