I did try to get a pic. of the whole plant but this was very difficult. It is a large and tall plant nestled among many other Dendrobes. To take it out would give me endless problems. I gave you from the angle which showed as many blooms as possible. The 12 spikes is not unususal for this plant. Sorry!!

Angela...are those cattle panels that are being use on the roof of your shadehouse?
I am not familiar with the term "cattle panels" , I don't even know what exactly these are called Haha. However, what i do know is that what you are seeing on the roof of my shade house are panels of iron panels which are used for reinforcing concrete pavements. I placed it there to hold up the shadecloth to stop sagging.

I bought the plant (quite large at the time) at Redlands 2010. Did not take long to bloom after I go it home and potted up. It has grown considerably and just keeps blooming. I should point out that one cane can have 4-5 spikes, and the old canes also keep spiking.

Angela, you are a great grower! I had a Lorrie Mortimer (sob!) it completely filled a 14" pot, rim to rim. It was a show in full bloom, miss it (sob). Where can I get one?(sniff).

I feel your pain I got mine in Miami at the Redlands Show. I think your best bet is to try a grower in Miami.
I agree with you this plant is aiming to be a large specimen plant. I now have it in an 8" pot and will soon have to upsize.
Hope you manage to get one Good Luck
