Co-incidentally , after my success with Aerangis jacksonii, I have just bought about a dozen different Aerangis species including this one - mostly said to be flowering size ( but we'll see - although the supplier has a good track record with me )to be delivered in a couple of weeks time after I get home from Italy. If its as good as yours I shall be surprised , and of course delighted.
Of hre vandaceous ones, I like the Asda/Aerides best - a nice clean shape to those flowers, and a subtle colour too.
I actually went in search of the Asda/Aerides cross. I knew the grower has them and was going to be at the show. I was tickled to find such a nice one. I found one other i'd went in search of, but it was such a small plant I left it at the stand. The Aerangis...when I saw it hanging I wasn't going to leave it behind as I knew I'd probably never get a chance at such a nice one again. I hope it will like the jungle area. I had to rearrange the jungle again to accomodate all the new plants...the vanda section is getting large. Came in soaked from rearranging the misting system...again. I need a rain coat to wear for that chore. lol

We live so far away from each other...yet we both just bought the same plant. So cool...I cannot wait to see your pictures! ...you obviously have impeccable taste.
What do they say about 'great minds' ? Hahahaha. Seriously, I think your Christieara (Aer/Ascda) looks much better, with that slight yellow background colour that gives it a sort of luminosity, missing in mine. Mine is more of a uniform pinkish like the colour near the tips of your blooms and looks a tad duller than yours. I'll post pictures at the next blooming.

That "luminosity" makes for an interesting time getting the pics the right color. Depending on how much light is hitting them they may look pink, or when there is more shade they look almost light brown. They are interesting the way they change color...or seem to.
