Thank you for all the compliments but, here in south Florida Mother Nature, does most of the work for us.
But Mother Nature cannot take credit for the photography - which is just lovely! Are you happy that you caught the blue/violet accurately? I'm not doubting the quality of the photo - I was just wondering if YOU thought it was dead on - and, in either case, what camera, setting, lens, etc., did you use? I'm on a steep DSLR learning curve for my orchid photos and I'm looking for all kinds of styles and insights. Beautiful photo, beautiful blooms....
I simply love this one, and I have been returning regularly to this thread to see it again and again. In all its beauty, I simply can't stop noticing the darker speckles on the petals of some flowers, is it an artifact of the photography?? I really hope so, because if not it is really a bad omen, a symptom of the color break virus.
