    I think I'll add a bit more to this discussion. V Ruby Prince = V Ruby x V Cooperi: V Ruby = hookeriana x tricolor : V Cooperi = V Miss Joaquim x hookeriana : and Miss Joaquim = hookeriana x teres. . Common to all these crosses is Vanda (Papilionanthe) hookeriana our own Malaysian bog orchid, commonly called the Kinta Weed. At one time it was so common in the Kinta Valley of Perak , one of our NW states, that it was referred to as a 'weed'. If you ever wondered where Miss Joaquim and company got that gorgeous lip it is from our 'weed' V hookeriana.
