Default Terete or semi Terete ? please ID.

I came across this bloom today in a clump of Terete Vandas. Seems I must have been given a cutting, and just stuck it there.
I am puzzled as to what it is. The leaves are not long "pencil" but are rather short 3-4" and leaning to flatish and pointy. Hope the few leaves in the photo will give you an idea.
    Can anyone ID. please.

What a lucky girl you are, Angela!!!! That is one AWESOME BLUE VANDA. The leaves would indicate a first generation semi-terete - most probably a V Miss Joaquim with a blue strap leaf vanda. I have noticed that the Thais have been doing a lot of crosses with Miss Joaquim and the few I have seen are not as beautiful as the one you have. You really have a gem there. I'm drooling and will be on the hunt for one.

Here in Malaysia, among us oldies, we refer to first generation (terete x strap) as semi-terete, and quarter-terete (semi-t x strap) and even 1/8 terete ( 1/4t x strap). We still have separate categories for semi-teretes and 1/4 teretes in our shows.

    @ Yew
Thank you for responding. I don't remember where I got that one or the other teretes that I have. Only since I have posted the pics.of the other teretes here on the Forum that I have paid any attention to them. The flowers are rarely entered in competition and anyone who has them will give the flowers away for making Wreaths.
I am now quite interested in learning more about the teretes. Next time there is an AOS show here I will try at an entry.
My only Hybrids are V. Miss Joaquim "Douglas" and V. Poepoe "Diana"

Most probably is, Cathy. The lip looks so much like Ruby Prince and the blue could very well be from coerulea. Thanks for the info.

    +1!!
Angela, you ARE lucky! This Vanda is one of the kind! I have Miss Joaquim and V. teres and just love them. Your Vanda, I think, has V. coerulea as one of parents.... or grandparents. Leaves look more terete than semi-terete to me. Anyway, it is absolutely phantastic plant whith a terete Vanda shaped flowers and sepals and petals of V. coeruela.

Mine is a sprawling mess that hasn't bloomed in a few months due to how shaded it is. Hopefully moving it this weekend. Once I get another round of blooms I will post to compare.

Interesting one. I see a lot of Miss Joaquim influence. It should be one of the parents..
