Love this vanda orchid, Zain! Wish I could smell the fragrance. We have several cattleyas opening up now and I have been enjoying their fragrances.

    cheers,

As with the tricoglottis - great shots - which helps when one can't post the fragrance, too. I wonder - for the last 2 months I have had a small, fairly young (I think it has spiked once in its history, although not with me) v. lilacina. Are you familiar with it? Of course, I brilliantly decided on a species vanda instead of a a hybrid for my first challenge. I don't know anyone in Atlanta who grows species vandas, so I'm not sure what to expect. It seems happy, but no spikes yet - patience..... I know. Thanks.

Zain, this is the first time I have seen the flowers. I love the color. Fragrant is a plus.

Congrats, Zain, on figuring out what it needed to bloom! (So frustrating when one cannot.)
