Awwwwwwwww, Cathy. That's gorgerous. The V. Gordon Dillon is very dominant, isn't it. I like it very much.

These Vanda flowers really draw you in. Still, seventeen blooms is a lot! I tell you what send me the plant with all seventeen flowers intact and I will believe you and confirm the fact all over this board. I take the care of this orchid out of your hands(I will do the nitty gritty things such as watering, fertilizing, and speaking soothing little nothings to it) and you get all the prestige and credit. What more could you ask for Cathy!? AL

So, I stand corrected. What I thought were two buds are just really fat bracts (I think that is what they are called). That just moved the bud count to 15.

Al, you are too funny. You always make me laugh.

Any over a dozen is excellent flower count for vandas.

Thanks Yew. I'm going to take a shot of the entire spike once they are all open. I think the reason the plant has so many blooms is because of its size.
We have had unseasonably cold weather with several days of rain and hardly any sun. It has slowed down all growth. I've moved some of the plants under the shelter of the porch. I've been really diligent in applying fungicide.
