    Beautiful plant. Congratulations.
    B. perrinii and B. tuberculata are very close species.
    My perrinii (according to the tag) looks like your tuberculata with thin and relatively short leaves and always blooms in july.
    My tuberculata (according to the tag) has longer and thicker leaves, and it blooms between april and august. This year, I will have a second bloom next month.

    Kew doesn't accept B. perrinii as a separate species. For them it is a synonym of B. tuberculata.

    Kew changes his mind recently : See here. Now, they are distinct species.

    It is accepted by Schinini, but not accepted by Govaerts and not by the board of Trustees.

    I agree with you for this screen shot Horst, "not accepted" with data from 1996 and 2003. But, in theory, all species in bold (and perrinii is in bold) in the genus list are accepted.

    Of course you are right. But it seems that some people are not happy with this decision.
