I got this one at big box clearance rack in June. got it mostly because it came with the wooden basket, but the blooms are a nice surprise on a plant that doesn't look the picture of health! Nice fragrance in the sunlight too, best I can describe it as is fresh linen.
Don't you love it!
So pretty. You saved the plant. In retun, it rewarded you with pretty flowers and scent.
My local big box stores only carry dehydrated about-to-die phals. "sigh"

I, too, think the blooms are pretty! Rescues are awesome whether they are plants or pets
Wonderful suprize! Thinking it maybe an Aerides! Lost a bid recently to a duo of orchids, one of which was this ( which jogged my memory) with a trichoglottis species also. The shape and form of the inflorescence in your pic instantly reminds me of the pic in auction, however I nowhere near knowledgable enough to attach names to faces and to be honest with my careless approach with labels Im not gonna get anywhere fast!
Congrats very nice bloom, lucky you.
Beautiful blooms. Does look like an Aerides or hybrid of it.
As a suggestion, research the name, Rhrds. Mem. Suranaree. Very similar.
As a follow up. I checked this plant out further with the plant mgr. at the big box store, (they actually had some additional ones in bloom for the holidays), and she tells me its actually Rhy. coelestis.
