Excellant flowers! Love the coloration. It is likely that the "S.D." is either the initials of the grower or the place where it was grown. It is possible that it has no meaning at all and was just an unimaginative way of designating this particular clone.
Lovely blooms on this orchid! I agree, the S.D. is most likely the grower or nursery initials.
