Very nice! I still have about two more weeks before my percivaliana blooms here in Chicago, IL.
Tom, Kathi, Betty, Jose, Eric, Alex, Jason, Jim, Bill,,
many-many thanks for your wonderful words!
I will show my precious in full bloom... or earlier I simply love percivalianas. I have two more, both typo.
That is spectacular!
Love this cattleya orchid! The blooms are great!
It is the first time I see this color variety.
I have alba, coerulea, semi-alba and the species type varieties.
Your plant is probably to classify as a suave. For a semi-alba the lip color is not strong enough.
Unless next year it will be much darker.
If your plant developed from a seedling you are the most lucky orchid enthusiast.
If it is a cloned plant I have to find out where to get one.
Here so pricey and beautiful pink color.
Gorgeous blooms. What a show it's going to be when all the flowers are open. Great culture - I'm in awe!!!!
Natali, this one is everything I think a catt should be. Big, beautiful and white. Great growing!!!!
Cathy, Bruce, Horst, Zain, Yew, Bill,
Thank you very much! I am glad you like my Cattleya.
I bought this plant about one year ago. It came from a private collection. I don't know how the plant bloomed before because when I bought it the flowers were mostly wilted and I even thought it was an alba form. How it looked:
This clone was mentioned as semi-alba var. here:
