    In addition to seeing the pictures of the flowers, I like to see pictures of the whole plant to get an idea of size. What I think is most interesting is my percivaliana is more stout and compact, with rounder pseudobulbs. I wonder if it is a characteristic of the variety or due to different growing conditions between Florida (warm) and Chicago (cool), or something else.

    Jim, this plant is taller than my "typo" percivalianas. I will measure them and take pictures tomorrow.

    My plant has 15 growths, 12-13,5" tall. I also have two typo percivalianas, C. percivaliana 'Merril' AM/AOS and C.percivaliana (‘Summit’ x ‘BM-Plasdoru’). They do have rounder pseudobulbs, but only second one is more compact. It is going to bloom second time. 'Merril' will bloom first time.
    In the middle C. percivaliana 'Summit' x 'BM-Plasdoru'. (I recently removed back bulbs from both plants)
