Default So... my orchid binge starts with Pot. Mem. Shirley Moore 'Newberry'

I guess yesterday was a rainbow day for me. I restrained myself and only bought 5 - one is in bloom (this one), 2 are in bud, and 2 others are just hanging out right now.

Here are a few shots of Potinara Memoria Shirley Moore 'Newberry' - I was taking a lot of shots and trying to work quickly before I lost the sun, so some are in what I like to call "soft focus"

Oh, and 2 questions: What are Potinaras supposed to be called now? And is it possible this cultivar has never been awarded? Oh, and a third - can anyone tell me the parentage? I can't get it on RHS and none of the searches I've done mentioned parentage... (I know, I know - OrchidWiz again - I'm getting to it - just been a bit busy lately).

Thanks , Bruce - this is great information even though I was never particularly good at pie charts. I guess I'm more verbal than visual.

It's fairly compact. Even though I'd say it is a pretty mature plant, it only stands about a foot high, and the blooms are about 3 1/2" wide. I'll have to repot it when it's finished blooming - it's breaking its pot open, but I daren't touch it while there's still a possibility of more flowering!

Very pretty buy. To answer your Q, yes, this cultivar has an HCC/AOS already.

Thanks, Kathi! I thought for sure it would have been awarded something already. It's an especially attractive plant because it is a perfect compact edition of a lot of the larger green hybrid catts - but no scent, unfortunately - too hybridized to retain it, I guess.
