Default Guarianthe bowringiana X Encyclia plicata

A classic primary cross Guaricyclia Plicaboa, this one is a true beauty. Dark burgundy flowers with a 'to die for' scent of vanilla and chocolate. The flowers also have good texture and nice placement, also the plant seems to be very good grower, it produced multiple leads when I got it in spring 2011. It was already spiking when I disturbed its roots for bringing it to India, still it is blooming and also has another spike forming.

    The entire plant

That is gorgeous! Reminds me of a plant I have that hasn't bloomed in a long time. Very pretty...love the color and the plant looks very healthy.

VERY nice, Amey! Looks like a rather large grower too.

Magnificent, Amey! I have never seen one of these (not surprising) - and it has all the characteristics that I love - I will look for it and hope that at least some of those characteristics are in the plant, and not the grower!
