    Tom, and I correct to assume you had in three years before it bloomed? If so how much did it increase in size during those three years, as a percentage?

    I don't remember or pay that much attention to it, but it is a slow grower, so...

    I am pretty sure where you got yours and you did pay few shiny pennies for it, more than I can afford.... It is an uncommon species but not very spectacular IMO........., Yours may take 2 years or longer to reach blooming sized. It normally blooms on leafless growths. Good luck with it.

    Oh my, Tom....that sounds really encouraging, LOL. It sounds like it may be around longer than I will, IF IT RECEIVES THE APPROPRIATE CARE. On the flip-side, the ones that grow rapidly are somewhat of a pain in the butt because you're constantly having to separate the divisions, repot/remount, give away/do something with keikis, etc. It sounds like many people have had poor experiences with this one. Well, it's too late now as I already have it..... I guess I'm a sucker for punishment
