    thanks yall! ya, i saw a small flat of these tucked away on the floor and just couldnt keep walking...spent ages picking the one plant that seemed to have the most curl and the largest lower sepals... like i said, the guy told me it was a new one out of singapore so it may not be a widely released hybrid yet, im really hoping he emails me like he said he would! the bromeliad is one that i used to have back home in new orleans, they were so common there! you could find em in most grocery store flower sections wrapped in crappy neon foil...but here most bromeliads are not so easy to come by and this one in particular has taken me 7 years of lookin to come across, real happy to have one back in my collection!
    ps- sorry about all the multiple thread posts and thanks for cleaning that mess up ;-)

    that is a lovely lovely if i can say semi alba vanda.... looks like it cud take sun too cuz of its semi terete leaves..i know that bromeliad...its very nice !!!!

    Lovely Vanda Shane! Hope you get the name soon. I wish I were successful with them. Lil' Squirt is really pretty!. The Bromeliad looks really large, and the flower is beautiful!
