    Whata pretty bloom, I think its a good close up snapshot pic will be a very nice post card... :-)

    That variety looks exactly identical to the one that I have.

    Although I cannot say that it is an easy bloomer for me.
    I think it has something to do with the timing of the blooms. The spikes start to come out in October, which means the buds get exposed to winter conditions (cold and dry) and very few make it through.

    That sort of explains this one then...see, when it began getting cold here I put this one into a greenhouse where it was sitting in the warmest corner. I should say hot corner...it gets close to 95+ in that corner on sunny days. So maybe the heat and extra sun here got it putting out like this along with the new fertilizer regimen.

    If you decide to cut a hole in the glass...make it where it would be handy to install an a/c unit and I promise I won't be too mad. lol
