Mine has 5 or 6 buds right now and a couple other sheaths i'm watching. Now that I see how pretty the flowers are I'll be impatiently waiting for mine to open. Great job on all those sheaths!

Dear Bill- that is a mgnificent specimen. I have only had Catts for three years and I did not realise a Catt could produce a clump of such size... and so many flowering leads! The flowers pictured have great elegance and delicacy to balance their flamboyance; and you say there is a powerful scent too. Wow. I am stunned! You have hit the jackpot and I am so happy for you. Can you tell me how long have you had this plant? Am I right in thinking that st least some Catts can never grow into such specimens because they just do not produce many leads? I am still quite a rookie and thirsty for Catt wisdom. You obviously have plenty!!! (Some of my Catts always produce unlovely dry sheaths I have to remove VERY carefully, while others always have handsome evergreen sheaths. It must be just their thing I guess.) You have my admiration.
