    Lovely bloom.
I've always liked the half-open quadricolor. One of my favorite Catt species. I almost lost one to rot this year. It is finally looking ok, but I doubt any blooms this year.

That is an oddly shaped lip. Nice coloration.

Very nice coloration in this cattleya orchid bloom. The lip is different, but interesting.

    cheers,

+1! I especially love the splashing.
I love this species, too. Unfortunately, I lost mine. Black rot. Actually, it was a fresh import (bought at last Redlands). I still have a small seedling, though.
