    Cool Blc. Zul 'Waiomao Fantasy'

This has been sitting on my shelves since October. The last picture shows the burns it got when I put it in the greenhouse's "bright" section. Ah well...the sheaths are finally producing anyways and the flowers have a wonderful sweet perfume to them. This is one large plant, make sure you have a shelf for big one's if you decide to buy one. lol

So you are the one that kept out bidding me on this one. It took me weeks to get one and then I ended up paying too much but at least it was a giant plant. It has the proud title of being my most expensive orchid. I will NEVER get carried away like that again. Nooooo orchid is worth that! Lol I love everything about this one. The changing colors and fragrance are wonderful. This spring mine gets divided and some sold to recoup my extravagance. Yours is lovely. Mine was in bloom when I left and had lots of sheaths just beginning to swell. I love that the blooms seem to be very long lasting.

LOL Uh Oh...actually it took several times to get this one and that particular weekend it seems everyone was away from their computers as I got mine for a song. That weekend saw an order go in for 5 cattleya...that was a very big box. I've been behaving much better...right now the boxes only have one or two at a time.
This plant has everyone wanting one...and from the number of buds and the perfume of the flowers I am understanding why. I hope yours will still be nice when you get home....it's got a whole ton of competition coming back with you. lol This little plant will have to work to keep your attention then.

I think this one is going to become a real winner at shows in the future. Mine has well over 20 growths and new ones coming on and they are also developing sheaths. Did yours bloom from dry sheaths? Mine did. Was concerned until they started filling with buds. I haven't bought for awhile. I usually don't in the winter due to the weather and shipping. I will make up for it this week I'm sure.LOL

The sheaths didn't go dry on mine, but they didn't fill up with buds at first either. That is why it got burned in a very bright area...and apparently it got the message.

That's beautiful! Catts always seem to bloom so much better when they're climbing out of the pot like yours. Good growing.

What a really uniquely colored Catt. Wish I had room for more big ones. They get so impressive.
