Zain, let me know what happens with the email you sent.
Zain, the lip color is of concern to me also. V. wightii comes from Sthn India & Sri Lanka, again by what I've been able to research.
This is the pic of wightii from my friend garden. Its lip is quit different from yours.
Can I have it??
Lovely vanda, and the leaves look like a dragon with scales! see 3rd pic.
ONE MORE TO MY WISH LIST!
Hi Cathy I just got the feed back from Mr Martin he quoted "It is close to V. bidupensis. I have have see too few of these to be sure of the range of color in that species. If your plant is from Burma it would be a new locale for this Vietnamese species. If you could send me a flower i alcohol, I will be able to tell you more soon."
Thanks Cathy for your info and contribution I will send him few sample of flowers for further clarification.Zain
Zain, a google search finds 1 or 2 pics of the Mr Martin suggested. From what I see its not correct. ONLY, judging by the pics, the flower form & particularly the lip shape isn't anything like yours. Too far apart imo to be of the same name.
Can you please refresh on where it actually came from, your plant.
