Beautiful! Great job! I actually have this cross, and mine looks completely different. I love how siblings can vary like this! This cross is registered by Mickey's Orchids as Bc Adrienne Arsht.
Quite surprised the nodosa lip did not dominate as it usually seems to in hybrids. Quite nice.As Betty asked, did it inherit nodosa's fragrance? (Probably only at night I imagine, if it did.)
“If nature were not beautiful it would not be worth knowing, and life would not be worth living. I am not speaking, of course, of the beauty which strikes the senses, of the beauty of qualities and appearances. I am far from despising this, but it has nothing to do with science. What I mean is that more intimate beauty which comes from the harmonious order of its parts, and which a pure intelligence can grasp.” - Henri Poincare

Very pretty. Love the complexity of the blooms. Thanks for sharing and a great job on growing this one.
Very nice green! The splash of purple really sets it off.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box!! OrchidTalk is a world community. Celebrate our Diversity!
