    Default Dendrobium valmayorae, Philippine Orchids

A slow growing, high altitude, cloud rainforest dwelling orchid, endemic to the southern Philippines.

This orchid cannot be grown in lowlands or in dry environment in tropical countries.
It can only be grown were extreme air moisture and cool climate in dry medium.
Watering and fertilizing are not necessary in this orchid for nourishment.

I considered it the most difficult orchid to grow in cultivation since the only means to propagate is through seeds.

Those are beautiful blooms, Derek. Pity they can't grow in the lowlands.
