Great buy, Martha! They usually have a very elegant flower shape, so beautiful!

Thank you all, the color is a bit washed out, it is a little darker than in the photo. The flower is about 5 inches across. - martha

Cathy (cdayinflorida) and me spend a few wonderful hours together at the USF Botanical Gardens Spring plant sale. We both bought the same clone, Cattleya warneri 'Select' Chadwick

    Default Change of environment

After a change of environment it is absolutely normal for a plant to be disturbed and therefor not develop its flowers as good as normal.
If the plant like the new environment you will have great flowers next year.
If your plant doesn't like the new environment it will take 2 to 3 years to adapt and show you the truth potential.
Some plants may never adapt. I hope that's not the case with your plant.

By the way. Do you know what means "SELECT"? Did the vendor gave you any explanation?
    I'm curious!
