Cool Blc. Tangerine Horses X Blc. Carolina Golden D'or

This is another of the plants Rich had to leave behind when he moved. It is stunning! I go out the backdoor and this is all you can see...and since there are so many orange catt's this week I thought i'd add this one in even though it's not really my bloom. Thanks again Rich...

Gorgeous! I bought this cross with no blooms and never having seen it, but the name got me and rightly so! Mine has 2 sheaths on it that have turned brown and dry. I hope it blooms soon! Thanks for sharing the pics!

I'm sure the dry sheaths will be putting out soon. This seems to be an easy bloomer. I didn't even have it in very bright light and it still bloomed nicely. Yours should kick into gear soon. Sometimes they just have to get used to not living in a perfect world anymore...

Thanks for the encouragement! It was spilling over the edge of its pot with new roots, so I repotted it to take advantage of the growths spurt. I hope I didn't stun it, but it seems like a sturdy plant so maybe it's fine. I'm sure it will bloom eventually, just hoping for sooner than later!

Ohhh...when you repot they will take a break sometimes to grow roots. Most cattleya will bloom once they get settled into their new pot. Hang in there...
