Beautiful photo, Horst, as usual! Wow - that is one floriferous mini-catt - is there auriantica in the background? Or is there another small-flowered catt-type species I'm trying to think of? (not really my area, as you can probably tell). Oh, well... I always like to learn something new when I see something so pretty.

Wow...I like the way the flowers form a lovely ball of color up top the plant! And the flowers are just the loveliest color... Nice one!

As you can see, no C. aurantiaca in the background.
This beauty is the result of a cross in between two primary hybrids.

    For your information:
    Gct. is Guaricattonia
    Grt. is Guaritonia
    Ctna is Cattleytonia
    Gur. is Guarianthe
    Bro. is Broughtonia
    C. is Cattleya

Aha - it was bowringiana I was thinking of. Thanks for taking the trouble to post the parentage - I always appreciate learning something new.

That's beautiful! The breeders have really come up with some wonderful mini-catts in the last few years.

This is very nice Horst. I have hybrids from Grt. Brandi which are great but not a straight Brandi, definitely have to get one.
