Default Is this Potinara Free Spirit?

I bought this orchid last year and it surprisingly bloomed with 6 to 8 inflorescences of rich purplish flowers. It was tagged Pot. Free Spirit but I'm questioning it since I know the said orchid has yellow flowers. I would very much appreciate help from those who can identify this orchid. Thanks.

No, definitely not a Potinara free spirit. As you said they are yellow and completely different. This one seems to be a bowringiana hybrid.

Beautiful cattleya type orchid, but not Potinara Free Spirit. As Amey points out - Potinara Free Spirit is a yellow with a completely different flower shape.
