Gorgeous! Mine has not bloomed yet, and shows no signs of doing so soon, darn it all.

Love this one. Yours is so nice and healthy looking. Mine bloomed last year but this year shows no signs of spiking. Mine must be related to Kathi's. LOL

Bruce do tell us about the culture...did you give it a Winter "rest" from water? Was it in bright light all Winter? Mine is mounted and has not yet bloomed...Thanks, Betty

It lives on the north end of the greenhouse on the shelf above the koolcell. I'm not sure if it should have received a winter rest, but it did not in my care. Since I have so many orchids, I simply water everyone of them on the same schedule. So, this one gets watered once a week during the cold months and twice a week in the warm/hot months. It gets fertilizer ever two waterings in the cooler months and ever other watering in the warm months. I never repotted it as it was such a little seedling when I got it. So, basically I feel lucky to even bloom this one. I do grow it next to some hard cane dendrobiums that bloom regularly as well as some mini-cattleya seedlings that I am expecting to bloom within the next year or so. So it gets pretty bright light, but not direct light.

    cheers,
    BD
