THat really is a beauty. I like the soft blush color contrasting with the bright white. The showiness of the digbyana really comes through.

I do not comprehend what it is that drives them to bloom - the same time and we are so far away - you grow in a greenhouse and I grow under lights in my basement.
    Incredible to me.

I could give you another similar and maybe even more remarkable example ; Iwhen I first bloomed Cyrtorchids arcuata - not an orchid you see every day (!) and posted it on another site , one member was able to post his, also in flower at the same time. I live in the South of England, and he lives in the south of Australia - you could not get much further away; in both this case and your case, just a coincidence ?

nice hybrid...actually went for a hike and saw Brassovola cuculatta in the wild for the first time in my life and luckily it was in full bloom.....right on a Poui tree along a busy main road..joining it was Caularthron bicornatum,Catasetum macrocarpum and Oncidium luridum all on the same tree..
