    Default Blc Bill Krull

    This is a first bloom on this plant for me. I bought it from the grower last year after seeing it's momma blooming. I don't know why my camera insists on making things pink - it's a velvety dark maroon with red and orange on the lip and throat. And a heavenly fragrance...

    Wow sounds nice and looks nice too. Camera's can be a bit hard to make behave.

    hmm, I find taking pics of really dark flowers also realy hard to get...not sure what the trick is to get it right..

    As for Billy Krull, well I think it's just nice and dandy! The velvety dark maroon does sounds lovely though! So is this a big plant?

    Yes, a standard catt - the first bloom blossoms are about 4.5 to 5 inches across, it should produce larger blooms as it matures.

    Our cameras must be related , I have a Why Not that I gave up taking a pictue of , it is dark red and came out purple . Your Catt. bloom is beautiful . Gin

    Very nice blooms.
    As for the camera i assume it,s a digital.
    Try in different types of light I.E daylight , flourescent , tungsten etc.
    I find my camera gives the truest colour in natural light with the flower front lit.There are tons of settings on mine but what they all do

    very nice color. the flash on my camera turns purples into reds.

    In this pic it looks like the color of twilight. So pretty. But I'm curious to see another pic if it is actually dark maroon. Perhaps in different lighting you could take another?
