    Exactly, in fact, here in Australia, many growers have this plant growing & flowering without any heat. As long as its protected from extreme cold like frosts & heavy chills, it grows & flowers ok. I've grown this plant over many years without heat ok. btw, I don't have a plant atm tho.

    We do have a dry, 'cooler' (av 25 C night temp & 32 C day) winter from mid Dec to Feb in the NW Peninsula Malaysia where I live but still not cool enough for densiflorum, though the other deciduous and some others from the Densiflora Section will bloom.

    Yew, I'm really curious Have you ever been trying go to grow this spec, under condition at your home?

    I have Den lindleyi, chrysotoxum, griffithianum,thyrsiflorum that have bloomed for me except densiflorum. After 3 years I gave it to a friend in a neighbouring state and I hear that it hasn't bloomed either.
