I bought a few seedling of this cross (L. cinnabarina x Cattleya schroderae). It was then unregistered. It has since been named, Lc. G.S. Ball

Thank you Bruce
It is a beauty, Cathy.
Gorgeous! The color is eye catching and the form reminds me of the L. perrini...very pretty!
the lip is very interesting, love the nice orange
Like it a lot!
I think that is Ball and not Bell ??
What happened to the C. schroderae ??? I'm not sure cinnabarina is that dominant. btw, it is Ball.
A pic on the net has the same color but schroderae is definitely apparent in the flower.
I have three of these and each one is a little different. This is the 2nd blooming. It still pretty young. And I think the bloom you might be referring to is mine from a sister plant.
The pic I found is from a Nursery website --vendor information removed - see faqs on posting!--- The lip on this one is direct cinnabarina as the webpic is spread and trumpet shaped. Both great colors tho.
