    I thank you!

The correct name is Trudelia cristata. Vanda is not correct, since she received before a few years the new name. I unfortunately always forget that
the orchid dealers still sell it in addition, as vanda cristata

    Greetings

This is awesome. Yet another to add to my want list. Could you speak briefly on its growing needs? High light? Cool, or intermediate, or warm? Etc. Etc.

    Hello,
I hopes, ask to have understood.
I cultivate it warmly and in the south window without rest trace. The night sinking of the temperature amounts to approx. 8 degrees. She likes it very brightly. For direct sun the Habitus is too tenderly (?).
    Is an answer missing?

    Good Night
    Katrin

PS: The bloom smells little after fruits

Let's see if we understand correctly -

You grow it in a South facing window. The low temperature at night is 8 degrees C. It likes warm growing and bright light, but not direct sunlight.

    Is this right?

    Guten nacht.

Could it be that the temperature difference between day and night temperature is 8 degrees?

First, this is absolutely beautiful!!! I love how the petals and sepals all form a cradle for that lip. And the colour on that lip is very striking!

(as an aside, does the lip look like someone doing a backflip?)

And to top it off, fruit fragrance! Definitely another going into my Wish List as well.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful plant Katrin.

    Cheers
    Tim
