Hi, these are stunning. How do you manage to get blooms on canes that have no leaves at all? I just can't get around it!

That is not difficult - it is previous years canes flowering, maybe flowering again. A lot of nobile types do it.

Oh! okay, thanks! Could it mean that the nobile types are still good in the roots although shed their leaves entirely during flowering?

Maybe the second would be called an "alba"?? Whatever, they are both amazing! What healthy specimens you have!

Maybe so ; or maybe just that there is enough whatever it is stored in the cane to do the job.

I can't help out with any ID, but I am in love with the sculptural quality of the plants!

    Thanks for your comments!
They two forms. the first one is a thin stem form and the secone one is a thick stem one. They bloom in different time. The former is from Vienam.
Hi Gurjeet, I put my nobile types Dendrobium outside my orchid shed during winter. That will make them lost some leaves and have more flower.
