A recent brazilian import. A wild shape, I love it as I love the fragrance.
The 2nd flower was very appreciated by a slug !
Beautiful cattleya blooms. Love how you put it " ...was very appreciated by a slug" haha...
Beautiful! I love the walkeriana fragrance. I have two of them and they grow well but the buds always turn yellow and fall off. I think it's a little too hot in Florida for them to bloom well. Your's is excellent. Good growing.
Death to snails and slugs !!!!
Gorgeous - love the 'wild' shape.
Eric, lovely flower. I do have concerns that this is C. nobilior & not walkeriana. The flower but mainly the lip formation & central stripping / color favours nobilior.
Roy, thanks for your comment.
Cat. nobilior is bifoliated (this is the norm but there are exceptions), this plant is not. And maybe the white area on the lip is too small and the stripes not enough drawn ?
I'll ask to my friend Vitorino who found this plant for me in Brazil.
