    Default Vascostylis Vinita Blue

I love this little vasco for several reasons. It bloom 3-4 times a year. It has a color that's uncommon in most orchids. It also has a wonderful fragrance in the mornings although not real strong. Unfortunately it's very sensitive to cold and it lost several leaves in a cold spell last year that didn't affect my other vandas.

It looks so proud of those flowers - and rightly so! Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Lovely blue Vasco. I agree Vascos are one of the most rewarding vandaceous to grow as they are so free flowering.

they should cross it with v. coerulea to give the progeny some cold tolerance.

It looks like and cetainly sounds like a wonderful orchid to have. It can be forgiven for not liking cold weather. Don't forget its sweater next time. AL
