    Default Miss labeled vanda?

This vanda was labeled Vascostylis Veeraphol, which I'm pretty sure it's not. My guess is that it's an ascocentrum miniatum. Does anyone know for sure?

I would say that it is an Ascocentrum garayi if it is a pure specie and an Ascocentrum. It is not a miniatum, wrong flower and it looks to big. Most of the miniatum labeled plants in Europe are garayi as the Thai grower that sell them to Europe marked them as such. What I understand, you have the same problem in the US.

That is stunning ! So much orange and let it hardly looks gaudy. But my guess is that it is a hybrid not a species. I can see some Rhynchostylis coeslis in there may be far away as a grandparent,

Check out Rhynchocentrum Ladda Gold. Could be its offspring.

A friend of mine mentioned Rhynchocentrum Ladda Gold also. I think that might be it.

I took this orchid to my orchid society meeting last night and a knowledgeable expert confirmed that it is most likely Rhynchocentrum Ladda Gold. He said he's very familiar with the cross. It also won a blue ribbon in the judging.
