Thank you for your kind comments. Jenn the flowers are about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. This is the one den that blooms with no bugs attacking it, all my other dens it's a battle with bugs to get a bud or two. Gabriela mine is growing among my catts, I use dynimite(sp) fertilizer and I read somewhere to not let it dry out like other dens. Thanks again every one.

Ahhh...sounds lovely! The flowers looked rather huge in the photo, but it sounds like this is a delightful little plant! I have to add this to my wish list...my first reaction when I saw it was...

I've always found myself gravitating toward the "weirder" orchids for some reason (and bizarre, obscure plants in general)! I always enjoy it when someone comes into my house and sees a bizarre plant, then says "What the heck is THAT?" LOL This one is just soooo cool! The veining and coloring is reminiscent of the pitcher plants I managed to kill this summer. (I think they were sick from the vendor...the venus flytrap I got from the same folks didn't make it either).

Thanks for sharing the flower size! It's hard to tell in a photo...the plant looked big in the pic. I may just have room for this!

Oh, wait...I think I got ahead of myself. Just looked it up on another site...it seems the plant is big but the flowers are small, correct? Just how big is the plant, if you don't mind me asking?

Jenn the plant is probably 1and 1/2 ft tall, nice growth, no need for staking and flower spikes hold themselves just fine, it is a nice plant.

Ahhh, thanks for clarifying! I was looking at them on the web and one person said the plant that he received was humungous and he was completely unprepared for how big the thing was. So I was a tad concerned. But one-and-a-half feet tall is certainly manageable. Fantastic! Thanks!
