What a gorgeous display!! I think I need to move to Florida. But then I'd waste so much time standing in front of the trees just gazing at the orchids...
Benny and Mr.Miller i've grown accustom...sometimes a pair of shoes, a new garbage can or maybe propane tank disappears...i've known someone with barbed wire greenhouse still lost 10 plants in a night...poor plants sold(cheaply) to fund a bad habit...on 2 occassions i actually had to get physical...adds a little excitement
As you can tell I had to tie the branch to my palm tree cause of all the rain we been having due to the huge spikes & flowers, got lucky it did not snap off. The buds that you see not open is a smaller spike that is about to open also if you can notice the branch going down on the bottom of the picture that one has two more spikes that have not opened yet, this plant has exploded with spikes it's a first for me.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I am, hopeful it survives this weekend with Isaac.
Good for you, Beny! What a fabulous display!
Beny, They look fabulous. Just a great job of mounting them.
I am blown away by the sheer number of blossoms on that Dendrobium! I have a similar type in "blue," but it only gave me about six flowers on its most recent cane. Perhaps it will be more like yours when it gets bigger! Or perhaps I should staple it to my roof to mimic your lovely Florida conditions...
Great growing!! They look fabulous!
