The longest leaves on this plant are about 12 inches. The plant is just reaching maturity. My experience with Fire Magic Cattleyas is that their foliage tops out between 12 and 14 inches. The growth is fairly compact, but unless trained they will spread toward the toward the best light. The size of the bloom is impressive for the size of the plant. The bloom pictured has a spread of just over 4 inches. I have a tendency to take pictures a little too soon, before the bloom reaches its' best presentation---I get excited!!
