    Cattleya intermedia

This year bloomed some lovely, nice shaped C. intermedia for me. One of them is this plant with an almost perfect shape and very typical colors.
What would be an appropriate name for this plant?

I think the question meant, is this a particular type of intermedia. With some of the cattleyas there are many well known forms - Laelia purpurata being the extreme here. Withners says ( in his classic 7 volume treatment of the Cattleyas and their allies, that over 100 forms of intermedia are recognised and presumably given varietal names in Brazil. C.intermedia 'Aquinii' is perhaps the most distinct and best known outside Brazil. However, the best book on the subject of the bifoliate Brazilian Cattleyas is probably that by Fowlie who managed to see every species growing in the wild - and for those cattleyas enthusiasts who a have not seen this, it is worth giving up your next several purchases and buying this book - it is a real eye- opener with its habitat descriptions and accounts of what the plants look like in the wild. However, although the book devotes several pages to C.intermedia, he has little to say about the ordinary all pink kinds, and most of his comments are about other kinds.
So to get back to your question, my thought is to just call it by its proper name - c.intermedia. What more is needed ?

So lovely, Horst. The shape, as you noted, is perfect. It is certainly one of the best C. intermedias I've seen. The shading is really nice.
