    Zainal, your Vanda insignis, is from Sarawak, or Sabah? Very dark colouration.

    In Malaysia we still can find young seedling relatively very cheap, probably next year you can get one during orchid show in German.

    Ed maybe you need to put frequent fertilizer say twice a week use NPK 20:20:20 and plus organic fert usually it will enhance the plant development, the leaves getting more darker and wider within 4 to 8 weeks usually you can see the result.

    i'got some seedlings already, but years from flowering.
    last time i baught one adult (from a malaysian seller, i think you know it) it was misslabeled and i what i get was a tricolor var planilabris which is very nice. but the cupped labellum is soooooo nice in insignis, i which i could get a blooming size one.
