    Default Dendrobium Adora Nishii

This was coming out nicely till the heater stopped on a very cold spell. The open spike lost 3 buds but the others held. It has a second spike coming so a full spike shot will come. The second plant I have of this cross will flower in about a month, like it did the first time I flowered these 2 as seedlings.

Just got to love the lip in this Latouria section. Beautiful one, Roy. Don't seem to be able to find any of these crosses here but has been offered a Den spectabile but the price is a bit stiff.

The lip definitely draws the eye. Looks like a fairly large plant.

Funny you say D. spectabile is costly there, it is here also. Any of these Den' types are. Don't know why. Might have to self this one. Might get my retirement money.
I think there is only one or two nurseries selling this type of dend here also.

I really love the color and the shape of the bloom. Can hardly wait to see photo of full spike and pics of it's sibling . Great job.

Thanks Bill, the sibling is a month or so off. Same thing on last flowering.

pavel, both plants aren't that big, 10 canes maybe but tall. They are about 15 inches now and will increase I believe.

Its been suggested that since Halloween is close, this sort of flower fits in, it doesn't have a clonal name so
Den. Adora Nishii "Halloween" it is.
