    Post Dendrobium Berry Oda

Hi all, it has been a long time I have posted anything to the forum. I have some blooms of D.Berry Oda filling the conservatory with its pungent fragrance. I am worried about its root health, although it is recovering but the process is very slow. It has been a year and I still can't get the brace out because it simply falls apart. When I received it last year I made a big mistake of dividing the clump into groups of 4 pseudobulbs, planted them together and its suffered since then. There are loads of kekis and very less root growth.

You recon!? I always think it could have easily been double the volume, had I not done the fidgeting. Was new to orchids, though ... but there always the first time.

I recently started a thread on the same plant ; you might like to look at it, to see how nice it can be , but I am not being immodest - I bought it in flower and with a lot of buds. I would not have called the fragrance pungent , but I guess smell is another area where one mans meat is anothers poison.
I have mine hanging up, apart from taking it to shows as part of a display , but I have not yet watered it since buying a couple of months ago. I'll give it an occasional spray, and wait for the new growths in the New Year - I hope.

This orchid looks really healthy in your images, but I suppose the roots are another thing all together. I love the pretty blooms and all the growth on your dendrobium. I hope all will be fine.

    cheers,
    BD
