Hi there my friend! very nice: I love the clash between the cool violet of the lip against the warm red of the other segments. This breaks all the "rules" of "good taste" in a wonderful way- here the colours are enhanced!

Thanks Igor.I would describe the 'warm red' you referred to as a red overlay on a coppery background ()

Just saw this one, Yew, and kudos to you for such an interesting Catt - not quite floofie, but lots of curves! And the color - was that red hard to get on camera?

I see what you mean. By the way: does it have a scent? (I sometimes forget to mention this myself when posting a picture.) And look out for those pesky bricks- Ouch!

Thanks Maura. No, this particular red was quite easy to capture and the colour on the picture is very much like the original. BTW have you seen my Paph Jolly Holiday in one of the recent posts?

Yes Igor, . I'm very poor at describing fragrance - so shall confine myself to saying that it has a slight, pleasant fragrance.

No, indeed, I have not, and I'll go search it out now - lots of health issues when we got back from Maine and, frankly, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!
