Every spike has flowers in bloom now...and there are a total of 57 flowers (with roughly six still in the process of opening), on 9 spikes. For me, I get happy when a plant gives me a single spike or one or two flowers...this is like opening a gift at Christmas. Every time I see it I am like a kid...
Wow--that is some show! Congrats on such wonderful blooming!
OMG Connie, that is a great blooming! Congratulations! I just got myself one and I am not sure how to grow it so far, so I'll just lay back and enjoy yours
Have a great weekend!

WOW, what a show!!!
Just beautiful Connie! Thanks for posing with it too! I never really thought of them taking up that amount of space...of course mine never made it to maturity. It did manage two flowers. I thought they had a nice fragrance. Brit found it too medicinal. I would LOVE a chance to smell yours!

Well al I can say is I'm glad Santa came early this year to you Connie. My 'Orchid' Santa Claus probably won't be coming this year. I believe the elves are on strike or the Reindeer refuse to fly south until the FAA gives clearance to a new flight pattern for them and the sleigh. The reindeer also complain that Santa has gained a little to much weight, so there asking people to forgo the milk and cookies in the future. All kidding aside these spikes are gorgeous something to be excited about!
wow.... spectacular blooms.... your garden must smell fantastic at night.....
