Cattleya purpurata tipo (species type form)

This is a plant showing the full potential of this species. Excellent shape, good proportions and nice colors together with a proud presentation makes it one of the best I have seen in a long time.

Excellent Horst !!! I have seen very few with such a beautiful fuller form and coloration, usually they have a whitish faded patch at the tip of the labellum which tends to distract from the flower but not this one simply awesome.
