Default Rhyncostylis gigantea "orange' in bloom

This is the first of my Rhy gigantea to bloom this year. Last year another of this 'orange' clone bloomed but was disappointing light peach. Though not exactly 'orange' I'm very happy with the peach colour of this clone. I got it 7 months ago but this plant has only managed to produce 2 new roots recently. It still looks bit dehydrated. 6 more gianteas are in spike and I will post pictures as they come in bloom.

The bloom of your Rhy gigantea is beautiful. This is the first time seeing Rhy bloom of that color. Congrats.

Yes the orange/peach colour are the newest colour forms. Next week a vendor has promised to try get me the ' carrot' variety, which really is orange. As I have mentioned I have 6 different colour forms from white to red, but I consider the peach and orange forms the modst attractive.

Do the peach and orange have as pleasant a fragrance as the red? I fell in love with a friends' gigantea several years ago over the scent alone.

Yes, all the giganteas have this very pleasant fragrance especially in the morning.
