    This was registered in 1996 as Dendrobium Touch of Gold (a reference to the lip, I suppose), and was originated by a well-known Hawaiian firm. johannis is a small species in this section(spatulata), and has a major effect on the plant size, since gouldii can be a very large plant.

    Thank you for this information, Michael. The plant which was given to me was pretty large , so I divided and repotted. That did not stop it from blooming on both plants. I am very happy with it.

    You are the queen of the most beautiful Dendrobes. Angela, you make me want to grow them! I love-love-love the color and antelope types are my favorite.
